In connection with WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, an awareness programme on the topic CONSERVATION OF BIODIVERSITY was conducted by the renowned Botanist ,Educator and Ornithologist - Prof. K. M Khaleel, Chovva (Former Principal of Sir Syed College Taliparamba) for the students of classes VIII and IX.
On June 12, World Day against Child Labour, the Department of Social Science organized a session on "Awareness Against Child Labour" for classes 6th and 7th. The session was led by Mrs. Lakshmi, assisted by Mrs. Athulya.
A session on Rabies Awareness was conducted by Biju KK, Jr. Health Inspector, PHC Puzhathi on 30 June 2025 for classes VI & VII.
A session on Cyber Crime was conducted by Mr. Dijinraj PK, Civil police officer of Cyber cell was conducted for the students.
An Anti Drug awareness program was organized today in collaboration with Mother's Army. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Sreejith Koderi, CI of Police, Kannur. Dr. Deepthi TR, Specialist in Early Cancer detection and prevention was the chief speaker who led the session.
Session on 'Adolescence' organised by District Court, Thalassery On September 22, 2025, the District Court, Thalasseri, organized a valuable session on 'Adolescence' for Grade XI students. Advocate FathimaVazhayil, a respected legal expert from the District Court, Thalassery, was the resource person for the event.Ms. SameeraShalu from the District Legal Service Authority, Thalassery, played a pivotal role in organizing the session. The students benefited greatly from the interactive discussion, gaining insights into the complexities and nuances of adolescence.The session provided a platform for the students to explore and understand the various aspects of this critical phase of life, empowering them with knowledge and perspectives to navigate their own adolescent journey.
Career Guidance Session for Class XI"&"XII- 23 September 2025
A Scholarship Examination was conducted in our school by the Kannur Postal Department on 28th September 2025. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of around 40 students, making it both engaging and informative.
The Model United Nations organised at BharatiyaVidyaBhavan, Kannur Kendra by the School Cabinet turned out to be a truly remarkable event. The programme, held at the school auditorium was inaugurated by the School Principal, Mrs.Geethanjali Sunil. Honourable Chairman Sri. P. Sudhakaran , Honorary Secretary Sri. Naveen Lakshmananv and Vice Principal Mrs Premaja O B also graced the occasion with their valuable presence.Under the guidance of Economics teacher P.N. Ashik, student cabinet members Ryan Albin, P.K. Sreedivya, Aahil N., and Angel Mary Philip led the initiative. The event featured two committees:
United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC): Students representing 45 countries engaged in discussions and presented resolutions on human rights issues and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)in which students deliberated on crime and drug-related topics.
The programme aimed to help students understand the working principles of the United Nations while developing their leadership skills and communication abilities.The event concluded with the implementation of all UN conference procedures, making it a notable success. The Model United Nations initiative provided a valuable learning experience for the students.
